Our Classes
At Weybridge Salsa we offer weekly evening classes for a variety of levels, daytime private classes, latin events and special workshops.
For those who prefer an individual approach or want to learn for a specific occasion, we offer private dance classes, custom-made wedding dances and much more. Please select from the various options in the drop down menu or click below to find out more.
HOW TO SIGN UP TO SALSA CLASSES: Contact us to enquire or head to Bookings to pay for classes. You can also pay-as-you-go on the night by cash or card. Drop-in students are welcome, although we still recommend a certain commitment to be able to progress in your dance.
COSTS: 1 x class is £12; 2 classes in a week is £15
4 x classes is £40 (valid for a month)
All Classes Monthly Pass £80 (access to all classes and the Friday practice, excludes special workshops and Monthly Friday parties at the Ship Hotel)

SALSA BEGINNERS LEVEL 0
EVERY WEDNESDAY 7:45pm - 8:45pm

COST: £40 for 4 classes or £50 for 5 classes
New ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS SALSA COURSES start the first wednesday of every month (excluding December and August).
This class is designed for Absolute Beginners. You will learn the foundations of salsa: basic steps, crossbody, right turn, open and close hold.
After you have successfully completed the 4 or 5 weeks course, you will progress to the LEVEL 1 class, which happens at the same time in the same venue.
SALSA BEGINNERS LEVEL 1
EVERY WEDNESDAY 7:45pm - 8:45pm
VENUE: Cleves School Dance Studio, Oatlands Avenue, Weybridge, KT13 9TS
COST: £40 for 4 classes (to be used in one month) for the or £12 PAYG
This class is designed for people who have completed LEVEL 0 and are familiar with the foundation steps of salsa. During this class you will learn the foundations of salsa (left and right turn, crossbody with turns, titanic , copa etc..) and you will be taught easy and short routines.
SALSA BEGINNERS LEVEL 2
EVERY WEDNESDAY 8:45pm - 9:45pm
VENUE: Cleves School Dance Studio, Oatlands Avenue, Weybridge KT13 9TS
COST: £40 for 4 classes (to be used in one month) for the or £12 PAYG
This class is designed for people who are confident with the foundations of salsa (basics, right and left turns, crossbody, copa etc..) and have at least 3 months worth of experience. You will You will start learning longer and more complex routines.
SALSA IMPROVERS LEVEL 3
EVERY THURSDAY 9pm - 10pm
VENUE: St James Church Hall, High St, Weybridge
COST: £40 for 4 classes (to be used in one month) for the or £12 PAYG
This class is designed for improvers dancers that are confident with the foundations and would like to take their dance to the next level, while still keeping it fun and not too high paced.
After the class, students can stay and practice till 10:45pm
SALSA HIGHER IMPROVERS (LEVEL 4 )
EVERY TUESDAY 7:45pm - 8:45pm
VENUE: Cleves School Dance Studio, Oatlands Avenue, Weybridge, KT13 9TS
COST: £40 for 4 classes (to be used in one month) for the or £12 PAYG
This class is designed for all the students with at least 1 year of experience that are looking to take their salsa dancing to the next level. Every Tuesday we will learn new routines to enrich your style and library of salsa moves
SALSA INTERMEDIATES (LEVEL 5)
EVERY TUESDAY 8:45pm - 9:45pm
VENUE: Cleves School Dance Studio, Oatlands Avenue, Weybridge, KT13 9TS
COST:
This class is designed for all the students that want to take their dance to the next level and work deeper on their technique, styling, timing, posture, flexibility, speed and footwork. This is open to students who have passed Improvers 2 level.
If you are not sure about your level, please contact us and we will advise.
BACHATA BEGINNERS
EVERY THURSDAY 8pm - 9pm
VENUE: St James Church Hall, High St, Weybridge, KT13 8DN
COST: £80 FOR 8 WEEKS COURSE
Over the course, we'll cover everything you need to build a strong foundation, including:

BACHATA IMPROVERS
EVERY THURSDAY 8pm - 9pm

A fun open level bachata class suitable for any bachata dancer that would like to learn lovely, straightforward routines to use during the socials. It is suitable for all levels as options will be provided to make sure everyone is suitably challenged.
MONTHLY PARTY ON FRIDAY
One Friday a month (normally the 3rd or 4th of the month), we host our popular Salsa and Bachata Party.
The party always starts with a class at 7:45pm ,with classes of all levels followed by 3h of the best salsa and Bachata music.

DAYTIME STRETCHING AND STRENGTHENING
FOR DANCERS
A weekly class designed to help you move better, dance better and feel stronger.
In this 60-minute session, we'll work on flexibility, mobility, core strength, balance, stability and posture using simple, effective exercises suitable for all abilities. Whether you dance salsa, bachata, ballroom, line dancing or simply want to look after your body, this class will help you improve your movement, reduce stiffness and build strength where it matters most.
Regular stretching and strengthening can improve balance, coordination and body awareness, making your dancing feel more effortless while helping to reduce the risk of aches and injuries. It's also a fantastic way to stay active, improve posture and maintain strength and mobility for everyday life.

Whether you are unable to join one of our group courses, would like to catch up with a course that has already started, or simply prefer a one-to-one class, then we can offer private classes. These sessions can take place in the comfort of your home or in one of our halls. You will be surprised how quickly you will improve after just a few sessions! Please get in touch to discuss your needs.

WEDDING DANCES
Your wedding day is bound to be one of the most memorable days of your life. Why not make it even more special, by preparing your very own wedding dance? We can help you choose the music and genre, and will help you put together a great choreography based on your preferences and abilities.
