Our Classes
At Weybridge Salsa we offer weekly evening classes for a variety of levels, daytime private classes, latin events and special workshops.
For those who prefer an individual approach or want to learn for a specific occasion, we offer private dance classes, custom-made wedding dances and much more. Please select from the various options in the drop down menu or click below to find out more. ​

HOW TO SIGN UP TO SALSA CLASSES: Contact us to enquire or head to Bookings to pay for classes. You can also pay-as-you-go on the night by cash or card. Drop-in students are welcome, although we still recommend a certain commitment to be able to progress in your dance.

COSTS: 1 x class is £12; 2 classes in a week is £15
4 x classes is £40 (can be used in non consecutive weeks)
4 x 2 classes a week is £60
4 x 3 classes a week is £80

Group Classes
BEGINNERS LEVEL 1
EVERY WEDNESDAY 8pm - 9pm

COST: £60 for 6 classes for the or £12 PAYG​
​
During this 6 week course, you will learn the basic steps of salsa and will be able to enjoy this beautiful partner dance. After the firsts 6 weeks, the classes will continue ( 4 x £40 or £12 PAYG​).​​​​​

BEGINNERS LEVEL 2
EVERY THURSDAY 8pm - 9pm ​

​VENUE: St James Church Hall, Weybridge

COST: £40 for 6 classes for the or £12 PAYG

This class is designed for people who have already done the absolute beginners course and have at least 3 months worth of experience.​ You will You will start learning longer and more complex routines.​​​
IMPROVERS (LEVEL 3)
EVERY THURSDAY 9pm - 10pm
​
​VENUE: St James Church Hall, Weybridge
​
COST: £40 for 4 classes or £12 PAYG
​​
This class is designed for all the students that are confident with
the fundamental partnerworks (turns left and right, crossbody turns, copas etc...)and have at least 6 months salsa experience. You will learn more complex routine and start working on timing.

IMPROVERS 2 (LEVEL 4)
EVERY TUESDAY 7:45pm - 8:45pm
​
​VENUE: Cleves School Dance Studio, Oatlands Avenue, Weybridge
​
COST: £40 for 4 classes or £12 PAYG

This class is designed for all the students with at least 1 year of experience that are looking to take their salsa dancing to the next level. Every Tuesday we will have different guest teachers to offer you new flavours and styles and enrich your salsa learning ​

INTERMEDIATES (LEVEL 5)
EVERY WEDNESDAY 9pm - 9:45pm
​
​VENUE: Cleves School Dance Studio, Oatlands Avenue, Weybridge

COST: £40 for 4 classes or £12 PAYG

This class is designed for all the students that want to take their dance to the next level and work deeper on their technique, styling, timing, posture, flexibility, speed and footwork. This is open to students who have passed Improvers 2 level.
If you are not sure about your level, please contact us and we will advise.

DAYTIME STRETCHING WITH LATIN MUSIC
A 1h session aiming at stretching and achieving a wider range of movements, with emphasis on the arms, upper body and back, hips and legs.

Cost: £ 8 per class
Day: Every Monday
Time: 12:30pm - 1:30pm

Private Classes
PRIVATE CLASSES
Whether you are unable to join one of our group courses, would like to catch up with a course that has already started, or simply prefer a one-to-one class, then we can offer private classes. These sessions can take place in the comfort of your home or in one of our halls. You will be surprised how quickly you will improve after just a few sessions! ​ Please get in touch to discuss your needs.

WEDDING DANCES
Your wedding day is bound to be one of the most memorable days of your life. Why not make it even more special, by preparing your very own wedding dance? We can help you choose the music and genre, and will help you put together a great choreography based on your preferences and abilities.

What can I expect?Salsa is a fun and uplifting social dance which we truly believe benefits both body and soul. However, its technique appears much easier than it actually is. At Weybridge Salsa, we are committed to creating and nurturing a salsa community, where leaders and followers are taught properly and in a professional way, without losing the warmth and fun that this Latin dance brings to the spirit. This is why we have designed 4-week courses during which all our students will build up on the technique and foot and partner work from the previous weeks.

What should I wear?You can wear whatever you like to our classes, as long as you feel comfortable. As far as shoes are concerned, if you do not own salsa shoes, you can wear any other type of shoe, but make sure they are practical for dance. We advise women not to wear high heels unless they are proper salsa shoes.

Do I need to come with a partner?A partner is not required to sign up to our courses. We believe the most effective way to teach is to rotate partners every few steps, so that both leaders and followers get used to dancing with different people, including the teachers.

Is there a car park available?For our Thursday classes at St. James Parish Centre there is a large car park in front of of the hall, which is free of charge after 7pm. For our Tuesday and Wednesday classes at Cleves School Dance Studio, there is a big car park within the school grounds. All the parties are hosted in venues that offer ample car parks
